    Long Feng Temple

    Long Feng Temple originated back to Ji Nan Li Cheng County, Shan Dong Province. A farmer whose name was Jhu Wei Ching was a Buddhist devotee and often climb up to Mount Tai to worship at Bi Sia Temple. Bi Sia Yuan Jun was touched by his devotion. In 1662, Bi Sia Yuan Jun showed himself to Mr. Jhu to indicate that he should go across the strait to Taiwan and plan to preach. Mr. Jhu followed his instruction and came to Taiwan with the golden statue of Bi Sia Yuan Jun and in the same year he moved the statue to Bei Peng Dao Shih Lin Huang Mu Temple. At that time lots of people, even pilgrims, came and worshipped. In the late 19 century, Japanese invaded. The war began and people died. Yuan Jun was merciful and showed his power to save people from harm.Buddha
    In 1913, the devotee Chen Ben An moved the golden statue of Yuan Jun from Huang Mu Temple to Chao Sheng Temple in Feng Shan County, Da Go. The year after, a plague happened along the southern part of Taiwan. Yuan Jung showed himself again as a lady called Sio Ying to give out money and save lots of people. The lady also won the name of “the lady with Bodhisattva’s heart”
    One night in 1950, Yuan Jun showed himself in the dream of Jhu Hong Shan. Yuan Jun told him that he was responsible with the spread of the belief. It was the time that people were trying to build. Everyone thought it was amazing and the devotees all thought that was a miracle. 
    In 1963, Yuan Jun assigned the name “Long Feng Temple.” In 1974, Jhu Kuen Juong moved the statue to Sin Ciao ya in Cian Jhen District. People donated and started building Long Feng Temple at the present address. It was finished in 1981. 
    In 1992, the hall “Yu Shu Yuan Feng Luan Tang” was set up to publish books and preach
